Syria: Any Military Intervention will Escalate Violence in Mid East

Tehran,YJC. --Amran Al-zabi, Syria’s information minister says, America's military intervention in Syria will escalate violence in the Middle East.

 Al-zabi, in an interview with Lebanon Al-myadin TV on Saturday 24 August warned any military intervention on Syria stating, "Syria will strictly respond any foreign intervention so that whole region will be affected.

The Minster added, "An attack on Syria will not be an easy journey."  As in the past year, violence in Syria has spread to some parts of the region.

Meanwhile, the White House said in a statement on Saturday, Washington still is not confident whit the allegedly

Americans oppose US intervention in Syria: Poll

Americans have strongly opposed US military intervention in Syria war and believe Washington should stay out of the conflict, a poll shows.

Americans believe the United States should not intervene in Syrian crisis even if reports of an alleged chemical attack are confirmed, a Reuters/Ipsos poll says.

About 60 percent of Americans surveyed said the United States should not intervene in the war, while just 9 percent thought President Barack Obama should act.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll, taken August 19-23, found that 25 percent of Americans would support US intervention if Syrian government forces used chemicals to attack civilians, while 46 percent would oppose it.
